In a new collaboration between the Nordic Green Building Councils, a number of topics during the year will be discussed from a Nordic perspective. The first topic is the theme Finance – the driving force for sustainability.
How money is managed is of great importance for the environment and climate. Many people still see sustainability as a cost, but it is becoming increasingly clear that green efforts are crucial for the business of today and profitability of the future. Working with sustainable properties, both in construction and management, is of vital for the business as well as meeting the global sustainability goals.
The financial sector is helping the transition in a completely different way than before. The demands for sustainability are increasing avalanche-like from all sides, not least from customers and authorities. It is time to show that the industry wants to drive and influence sustainable communities and cities.
